prides themselves on giving back to the community and the state of Idaho.  Recently, Protéan demonstrated a “how to” on Microsoft Office "Tips and Tricks" for the Idaho Society of CPA's.  The demonstration showed a wide variety of tools for CPA's and even everyday users of Microsoft Office™ Applications.

Here is a trick that you also might find useful:
 
If you have ever copied and pasted cells from Excel into Word you know that the end result is far from spectacular.  Word basically creates a table and places the values from the cell in the appropriate cells. Try this next time.

1.  Select your cells in Excel.
2.  Copy (Ctrl + C)
3.  In your Word document, on the Home tab, click Paste then Paste Special.
4.  Click Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object, and then click OK.
Once you have done this you will notice that your table looks more like a spreadsheet, but that's not the coolest part, double click in one of the cells and see what happens.<
